Tee 4 Thee 2005

On August 28th, 2005 at Olomana Golf Course (Kailua, Oahu), St Peter's hosted golfers of all levels for an afternoon of fun, fellowship, and prizes.  Members of our church community, other church communities, and friends of friends shared in a scramble format.  Everyone left with a prize as they were distributed by drawing.  Every participant received a gift bag containing: a box of Bridgestone balls, various snacks from Sweet Mele Hawaiian Products, and sun care products from Lahaina Noon.  See snapshots from the day below.

It may seem superfluous and unnecessary for the attention of the church to be placed into golf. However, we all know that it’s difficult to share God's mission and ministry, if we barely share any relationship. Along with the outward moving and acting of our faith, we are called to cultivate and deepen our Holy-inspired fellowship with each other

We have committed ourselves at St. Peter’s to stepping outward into God’s mission and ministry through us in Honolulu. These labors of faith and love also call for the work of reconciliation, community-building, and faith-filled relationships within our community. As our mission statement says, God calls us to “opening doors and gathering all God’s people for the journey of a lifetime with Christ!” Next year we hope, if even for an afternoon, you will share in the fellowship of the journey with us!
