The Vestry of the Church
Community Leadership Board These individuals accepted the delegation of leadership, representation, and organization expressed by the larger community at St Peter’s. As the agents and legal representatives of the parish, the Vestry meets monthly to oversee the temporal affairs of the parish. It reviews the status of the parish finances and ministries, as well as supporting the Rector to promote the spiritual welfare of the parish.
Elected for three-year terms, the Vestry offers spiritual and practical leadership in their examples of living and ministry, and monthly leadership board meetings. The Vestry of St Peter's Church meets the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. Our meetings combine dedicated time for prayer, Bible Study, spiritual discernment, and faithful discussion and action. Visitors are welcome to attend any meeting except sessions of the vestry.
