St. Peter's was organized as a church on Palm Sunday 1887, when a group of Chinese Christians who had immigrated to Hawai`i, gathered to give thanks to God.  The church grew quickly, becoming a source of strength and outreach to the Chinese immigrant community.  Today we worship in English and are a Hawai`i "mixed plate" community of folks who treasure the past while embracing the future.

Our worship is in the liturgical tradition of the Episcopal Church.  As Christians, we strive to grow into our baptismal vows to work for justice and peace among all people, respecting the dignity of every human being.  Worship strengthens us for this service in the world as followers of Jesus.

Come worship with us...

We invite you to join us for worship! We offer both "in-person" and online worship. We are blessed at St. Peterʻs to have two sets of very large double doors and windows kept open along both walls of the sanctuary providing excellent air flow within the space.  Masks are welcome but not required.
