St. Peter's Episcopal Church welcomes people of all backgrounds and walks of life. Visitors are immediately impressed by the splendor of the historic church building, with its emphasis on koa wood and stained glass. For many, St. Peter's is a sanctuary of serenity and peace in busy downtown Honolulu. St. Peter's Episcopal Church is located in the heart of downtown Honolulu on the island of Oahu, Hawai‘i. Founded in 1887 by Chinese immigrants, St. Peter's has been part of the downtown Honolulu community for over 125 years. The historic sanctuary built 100 years ago provides a beautiful sacred space for reflection and prayer with its unique stained glass windows and koa pews. St. Peter’s is a multi-generational and cultural community committed to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ through vibrant outreach, ministries, and worship.
